POLYPLEX also features single instrument ‘Units’ optimized for MASCHINE. Load individual Kick, Snare, Percussion, Oneshot, or User Units into MASCHINE’s sound slots just as you would load a sample or drum synth engine. User Units let you load your own samples directly into POLYPLEX. You can even play any Unit tonally using MASCHINE’s keyboard mode.

EASY TO RANDOMIZE

POLYPLEX delivers a fast, fun way to design your own drum kits. Roll the dice to randomize sounds on the global, sound, or sample level. No sound design experience necessary – randomize everything for something completely new or apply more subtle randomization when you start finding sounds you like.

LAYER AND FINE-TUNE

Each of the eight sound slots in POLYPLEX holds four samples. Each of these samples forms one layer of a single drum sound. Load a preset and start randomizing to build a kit. Once you’ve dialed in your kit, dig into a powerful editing section to tune each slot to perfection – tweak the entire sample slot or get deep into each layer for detailed fine-tuning.

EFFECTS

POLYPLEX features 18 premium effects. Apply dynamics, reverb, glitch, and more – up to four at once. Assign the flexible envelope follower to a parameter for rhythmic modulation. And a powerful routing section lets you combine effects in creative new ways – unbelievable sound mangling possibilities.

POLYPLEX was created by Josh Hinden and Igor Shilov – the sound design masterminds behind Twisted Tools. Josh and Igor create instruments such as Ultraloop, Vortex, and Buffeater using REAKTOR as well as sample packs, loops, and micro kits.
