Bluenote Café is het nieuwe livealbum (2CD) van Neil Young. Het album bevat een
compilatie van opnamen rondom zijn tour in 1987 en 1988, waar Young onder andere
in The Pier in New York speelde. Het album bevat tevens zeven nooit uitgebrachte
songs; Soul of a Woman, Bad News Comes to Town, Ain't it the Truth, I'm Goin’,
Crime of the Heart, Doghouse en Fool for Your Love en er is een uitvoering van
maar liefst negentien minuten terug te horen van het alom bekende Tonight’s The Night.

Naast de opname van het optreden in The Pier zijn ook legendarische zalen als
The Palace in Hollywood, The World in New York en The Agoura Ballroom in Cleveland
uitgekozen voor het livealbum Bluenote Café.
