Plot: Divorce lawyers Kenton 'Ken' Rhodes (recently moved in from Chicago) and Emily Bennett have a healthy but cynical mistrust of marriage from ample professional experience. They first meet and are attracted at the wedding of Ken's buddy since college, Lawrence 'Larry' and her sister Elisabeth 'Betsy' Showalter.
