The film opens with a beautiful wintry scene that turns out to be the grounds of a mental hospital. Charlotte Bronn is a fragile little
child-wife coming home after a year. Her husband Arnold is a stiff who is clearly uncomfortable at the prospect of taking his
wife home and he would just as soon leave her there. The film Session 9 was also shot at the same hospital building.
