In un futuro prossimo non esistono più privacy o anonimato. I ricordi di ognuno vengono registrati e la criminalità cessa quasi di esistere. Nel tentativo di risolvere una serie di omicidi senza colpevole, Sal Frieland si imbatte in una donna che sovverte ogni regola del sistema e che è scomparsa nel nulla. Prima di divenire la sua prossima vittima, Sal farà di tutto per rintracciarla.

In an attempt to solve a series of murders without guilt, Sal Frieland runs into a woman who subverts every rule of the system and who has vanished.
