Saw to survival horror with a view of TPP, created on the basis of a well-known series of films. The game takes ideas and concepts known from a series of terrifying and brutal horror movies to the virtual world. The films tell about a mysterious psychopathic sadist named Jigsaw. He sets the trap for people, forcing them to make ambiguous choices. In the game, we play the role of detective David Tapp, whom Jigsaw destroyed his life. First, he killed his partner, and then imprisoned David in an abandoned psychiatric hospital. We must break through a series of dangerous puzzles and survive, and perhaps we will discover the truth hidden by the serial killer.

Piła offers players a completely new plot, and its action takes place between events known from the films Saw and Saw II. The gameplay focuses primarily on the mentioned, characteristic Jigsaw traps, which were presented in the form of puzzles for the needs of the game. The most recognizable ones were moved directly from the films, although the authors also presented a lot of previously unknown ideas. Like in cinematic films, we often make moral choices, deciding the lives of other people. In addition to Jigsaw's mechanical creations, we must also deal with his minions using the found weapon.

The project provides several people working on cinematic images, such as the actor Tobin Bell - the performer of the psychopathic role of Jigsaw. The whole was developed in a very dark and frightening style. The game is quite brutal and we are often followed by strong scenes, of which the film series is also known.
