Summary: Alex hopes to be Creative Director of her magazine if she photographs the blue pearl Colin wrote about in Pearl in Paradise. He hopes that by writing a guest article he’ll boost his failing sales. While in Fiji, they discuss why they’re single; Alex admitting she travels too much, and Colin admitting women expect him to be the hero of his novels. He also admits he lied about knowing where the pearl is. The two decide to keep searching for the rare pearl anyway, neither aware yet that finding true love could just be the rarest adventure of all.
