Ispirato all’omonimo libro di Doug Stanton, 12 Strong racconta di un'unità speciale inviata a combattere i talebani in Afghanistan all'indomani del crollo delle Torri Gemelle. I 41 soldati riusciranno a inchiodare il nemico in mezzo alle montagne, per poi essere accerchiati in una fortezza e alla fine conquistare, dopo un immenso sforzo, la cittadina di Mazar-i-Sharif.

Inspired by the homonymous book by Doug Stanton, 12 Strong tells of a special unit sent to fight the Taliban in Afghanistan in the aftermath of the collapse of the Twin Towers. The 41 soldiers will be able to nail the enemy into the mountains, then be encircled in a fortress and eventually conquer, after an immense effort, the town of Mazar-i-Sharif.
