It gives a great general overview of hacking. If you're looking for something which will specifically teach you how to perform attacks, this book isn't what you're looking for. It basically covers the potential vulnerabilities and how a hacker might go about exploiting the vulnerability and the tools one might use to go about it but it does not go into specifics. If I had to do it over, I'd prolly just download it offline because I'm pretty sure it's available for free.
