Phife's Notes: "Operation Doomsday" was originally released in 1999 as Daniel Dumile's first solo incarnation of the metal-faced villain, MF Doom. Re-released with the bonus track "I Hear Voices," this classic Hip Hop album was quickly taken out of circulation because of copyright infringements. Marvel Comics, on behalf of Stan Lee, forced this wonderful album out of print due to the unauthorized usage of the "Dr. Doom" character and sound samples from the "Fantastic 4" cartoon series.
