In 1994 Laibach released the "NATO" album, a response to events in Bosnia-Herzegovina, the democratisation of Europe and collective security within the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation. "NATO" is the group's fourteenth album and the seventh for the Mute Records label. The two-leg "Occupied Europe NATO Tour 1994-1995", which ended in Sarajevo, accompanied the release.
