Carnaval So Ano Que Vem is the long-awaited debut by the Brazilian group Orquestra Imperial. Born as a 19 piece band, the ensemble includes Kassin, Domenico, Moreno Veloso trio, Thalma de Freitas, Wilson das Neves (Ipanemas) and many more talented artists from the Brazilian rock, pop and electronica scene. The group were a highlight at Londonâ??s Barbican Tropicalia Festival in 2006, playing with special guests Gruff Rhys (Super Furry Animals), The Bees, and Sean Oâ??Hagan (High Llamas). Orquestra Imperial offers a panoramic snap-shot of Brazil\'s new generation of creative talent and their collective interpretation on the golden-age of samba is neither sepia toned or nostalgic - it\'s kaleidoscopic.
