This is the soundtrack for the 1996 Billy Bob Thornton movie, "Sling Blade." The score was produced by Daniel Lanois and Mark Howard. Lanois performs the majority of the songs. Emmylou Harris makes an appearance and there's a great track from Booker T. & The M.G.s, "Soul Dressing." For the most part, this is a truly haunting soundtrack in true Lanois style.
