Aswad Showcase torrent

If you think Aswad are as close to roots reggae as Eddy Grant, think again, in the late 70’s early 80’s they were certainly roots and you may not recognize them in this collection of early singles, which begins with "Rainbow Culture and ends with "Shining Dub”. As the album title indicates, the songs are presented in "showcase" style, with a dub version following each vocal version without pause.

In addition there’s Promised Land feat. Dennis Brown, a much sought after Simba 12”, along with dubs from their New Chapter in Dub album.
