Dark Horse is the upcoming sixth studio album by the Canadian post-grunge band Nickelback, due to be released on November 18, 2008.

Work on “Dark Horse” began in March, after Nickelback made its long-awaited contact with Mutt Lange. The band travelled to the producer’s home base in Switzerland to begin going over song ideas. The album was recorded from mid- to late-2008 in Chad Kroeger’s converted barn studio in Vancouver, BC, and was co-produced by the band with Mutt Lange, known for producing records by AC/DC, Bryan Adams and Def Leppard.
