SINOPSIS

Sólo un gurú podría haber predicho el destino que le aguardaba a Ramu Gupta (Jimi Mistry),
un joven indio profesor de baile obsesionado por las luces de candilejas de un Broadway del
que le separa un mundo de distancia. Cuando un amigo le promete un ático en Nueva York,
un Mercedes rojo y un desfile interminable de nenas rubias salidas de "Los vigi-lantes de
la playa", el maestro indio de la danza se decide a triun-far en América. Pero el camino a
la fama en Nueva York no es nin-gún paseo en una alfombra mágica. Nada es lo que parece en
esta comedia transcultural llena de equívocos, gente fuera de su ele-mento natural y
enredos amorosos.

SYNOPSIS
Only a gurú could have predicted the destiny that waited to him to Ramu Gupta (Jimi Mistry),
a young Indian professor of dance obsessed by the lights of footlights of a Broadway of which
it separates a distance world to him. When a friend promises an attic to him in New York,
a red Mercedes and an interminable parade of blond babies exits of "the watchmen of the beach",
the Indian teacher of the dance are decided to prevail in America. But the way to the fame in
New York is not no stroll in a magical carpet. Nothing is what it seems in this full transcultural
comedy of ambiguities, loving people outside its natural element and tangles.
