First part of a Russian trilogy. A classic fight between good an evil setting. Contempory setting in a fantasy/sci-fi style.

People with extra powers (psychic, lycanthropy ect) are refered to as others and have to make a choice wether to follow the light or dark. A war between the two sides has been suspended by a truce. The truce is policed by both sides the nightwatch being the \\\"Good\\\" side policing the those that follow the dark and the Daywatch being the \\\"Bad\\\" side that polices those that follow the light.
