Lesbian drama Maggie & Annie is quite amateurish, seemingly made with a 'home budget', shot with digital video camera on location, resulting in a rather poor mis-en-scene. Yet I think that a lot of us lesbians like it for the story, the 'everyday' natural acting style, and the girls.
