Noem in gezelschap het woord mondharmonica en de naam Toots Thielemans
valt.
Op 29 april j.l vierde hij zijn 90e verjaardag!!
Zijn verjaardag viert Toots met acht speciale concerten in België. Ook verschijnt
er een boek, een boxset (met cd, dvd en boek) en is er later dit jaar een tentoon-
stelling in Brussel.
Toots trad op met onder anderen Ella Fitzgerald, Natalie Cole, Billy Joel,
Paul Simon, Miles Davis, Chet Baker, Charlie Parker, Jaco Pastorius en Benny
Goodman. Ook speelde hij de tunes van televisieprogramma's als Sesamstraat
en Baantjer en legendarische Bluesette.
Eigenlijk heeft de man geen introductie nodig!!
