Note: A 1972 orchestral (studio) version of Tommy arranged by producer Lou Reizner and The Who. Guest performers included Sandy Denny, Steve Winwood, Ringo Starr, Rod Stewart and others. Do not confuse this with the soundtrack album for Tommy The Movie, which is mistakenly believed by many to be QS quad. The movie soundtrack used QS encoding to extract 2 additional tracks from 4 discrete optical tracks, for a "quintaphonic" 5.1 mix. A stereo version was mixed for album release, but no quad mix was ever made.
