Janet Damita Jo Jackson [born May 16th 1966 in Gary, Indiana, U.S.A.], better known as Janet Jackson or simply Janet, is an American pop star, dancer, and had been a child actress. Discipline is the tenth studio album [first on her new label] from American pop/R&B singer Janet Jackson, released on February 26th 2008 and by Island Records in the US. Jackson has been working with producers such as Rodney Jerkins [who produced the lead single with D'Mile], Jermaine Dupri, Ne-Yo, Shea Taylor, Stargate, Johnta Austin, Tricky Stewart and The-Dream. The album was executive produced by Island Urban president Jermaine Dupri and Jackson herself. It's her first album since 1986's Control not to be produced by Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis. The album's first single 'Feedback', produced by Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins and D'Mile, was released as a digital download on December 26th 2007 and was released to radio on January 7th 2008.
