Erik Satie - Aldo Ciccolini Complete Piano Works, sessions combi torrent

Aldo Ciccolini made two complete sets of Erik Satie's piano compositions, one in the late 1960s, and then again in the late 1980s. The earlier recordings are preferred to the later digital recordings by most Satie fans. The exception is that the five 4-hand pieces done with Gabriel Tacchino are more charming than Ciccolini's earlier overdubbed versions. I have combined here the complete french boxset of Ciccolini's 1960's recordings, except the Ciccolini-Tacchino 4-hand recordings from the later session are substituted on these suites:

The five later recordings come from the EMI 2002 remastered boxset. I hope this collection presents the best listening experience possible for Ciccolini's Erik Satie works.
