Waterworld extended version is a videotape recording converted into a dvd. It is a good videotape copy and although it is not dvd, it is worth watching. This encore edition edited the little bit of swearing in the movie, but at 2 hours 53 minutes adds a good 30 minutes of footage missing from the dvd.
