Film by Esfir Shub, an eminent figure of the Soviet documentary cinema, created to the 10th anniversary of the Russian revolution and demonstrating the chain of events, which caused the fall of the monarchy in Russia. The main distinctive feature of the film is that it^s made entirely of stock footage, portraing the Russian empire and the world in the beginning of the 20th century. Thus the film is interesting historical document, independently from its original propaganda purposes. Inertitles in English and Esperanto.
