This is the extended directors cut of Wolfgang Petersons 'Troy'.

This version contains over 30 additional minutes of film previously cut from the theatrical release.

The new footage gives more detail in the characters, giving more depth to the story and making it closer to The Iliad than ever before.

As well as footage developing character - There is definite recut footage of extensive violence cut from the original by the American ratings board. There is MORE BLOOD, VIOLENCE, CARNAGE, and outright BRUTAL battle sequences. Spears through faces - babies thrown against walls - etc...

Awesome re-cut - and worth a definite look!!!
