In de eeuwenoude strijd tussen katten en honden,
is er nu een kattige kat die het flink uit de klauwen laat lopen. Kitty Galore, voorheen een agent voor de kattenspionageorganisatie MIAUWS,is voor zichzelf begonnen en heeft een duivels plan bedacht. Ze wil niet alleen alle honden voor haar in het stof laten bijten, maar ook haar voormalige poezenkameraden ten gronde richten en één grote krabpaal van de wereld maken. Katten en honden worden gedwongen de poten ineen te slaan om deze bedreiging af te wenden. Voor het eerst in de geschiedenis besluiten ze elkaars bondgenoten te zijn om henzelf en hun baasjes te redden.
