Hij ontvangt een brief van Louis, een arme boer, die Cotton vraagt hem te helpen de duivel weg te jagen van zijn land. Dit komt hem goed uit, hij kan dit immers gebruiken voor zijn documentaire. Maar dan ontmoet Cotton Nell, de dochter van Louis. En Nell is nogal ontspoord...
