The Silent Flute (AKA The Circle of Iron) is a 1978 martial arts film about a young martial artist named Cord (Jeff Cooper), who embarks on a quest for the Book of Enlightenment which is kept by the mysterious Zetan. The film was conceived by Bruce Lee, James Coburn, and Stirling Silliphant in 1969. Bruce Lee intended to star in the movie himself. After Lee's death, Silliphant and Stanley Mann completed the screenplay.
