A little boy is washed ashore by a high water to a foreign Stone Age settlement. After initial hesitation he is admitted to the tribe and is raised under the name Ravenfeather (Ludvík Hradilek). The boy grows up, wins the friendship of a girl and must pass many adventures. Ravenfeather would like to become a good hunter like one tribesman he admires, but it turns out, nevertheless, that the man is a thief and he is expelled. In the end, Ravenfeather replaces him.
