They play a particularly Australian flavour of indie synth-rock and have been steadily gaining support since they started playing live shows.

According to the band:
Coming to you from the dark corners of non-space, The Magic Hands exploded onto the Canberra music scene at the start of this year as a sign of something new and fresh. A combination of explosive live performances and a heap of interest saw The Magic Hands record their April Demo. The three tracks providing a dynamic sonic adventure combining solid rhythms and deep driving hooks fuelled by a combustible energy.
