Synopsis:
Emilia (Natalie Portman) is a graduate in law from Harvard University who has just married Jack (Scott Cohen), a leading New York lawyer who was his boss (and he was married) when she began working in his office. Unfortunately, Emily\'s life is turned upside down when Jack and she unexpectedly lost her newborn daughter. Emilia tries, despite their grief, to connect with her new stepson William (Charlie Tahan), but rarely understood by the precocious child. It is also trying to overcome a long distance in the relationship with his father because he\'s infidelity. But probably the most difficult to deal with Emilia is the constant interference of the jealous and angry ex-wife of her husband, Carolyn (Lisa Kudrow).

However, its funny and occasionally endearing tug of war with William Emilia helps to open your heart. ¿Rediscover their own ability to love in time to save their tattered marriage, build bridges with parents and build a family with the wreck?

Sinopsis:
Emilia (Natalie Portman) es una licenciada en Derecho por la Universidad de Harvard que se acaba de casar con Jack (Scott Cohen), un importante abogado neoyorquino que era su jefe (y que estaba casado) cuando ella empezó a trabajar en su bufete. Desgraciadamente, la vida de Emilia da un vuelco inesperado cuando Jack y ella pierden a su hija recién nacida.
