The Country Cougars torrent

The Country Cougars-rare album released in late 60s or early 70s on the Canadian independent label Paragon.
-members-Gerry Budd, Fred Caissie, Gerry Knight (changed name from Vautour), and Ray White (changed name from LeBlanc).
-Gerry Budd is from Yarmouth, Nova Scotia; the others from Minto, New Brunswick.
-Band was based in Toronto. They were house band at the after-hours Matador Tavern where they backed many famous performers. This club was later featured in videos by Leonard Cohen ("Closing Time") and Blue Rodeo.
-Played often at the legendary Horseshoe Tavern where they were a popular draw.
-Were Waylon Jennings' band at one concert in Toronto's Riverdale Park.
-Gerry Knight is the father of country artist J.R. Vautour whose first single "You're The One" peaked in the Canadian Top 20 and who was nominated for a Juno award in 2002 for Best New Country Artist. He is also brother to well-known performer Joey Knight who passed away in 2011. Gerry plays a mean lead guitar on this album and wrote the songs "Oh Yeah, She's The One" and "Shu Shu".
