With a sound equal parts Pearl Jam/Creed grunge-anthemic and Hinder modern/heavy, and a touch of hard-edged Southern rock that betrays their Mississippi origins, 3 Doors Down were a huge success straight out of the gate, and quickly became one of the biggest rock bands in the country.
