The title ´´AT THE EDGE OF THE EARTH´´ is a reference to a movie that Peixoto began soon after directing ''Threshold'', but the filmmaker was replaced by Octavio Gabus Mendes by disagreements with the producer and actress Carmen Santos. The DVD contains interviews, excerpts from films and photographs of works by Peixoto.
