Perdy catches her, but Katie manages to convince her she only wants to help. Furthermore, Katie tells her she should destroy the evidence as it will only be a burden to her in the future.

Perdy falls for it hook, line and sinker. But no sooner than she's thrown the cardigan into the fire, Katie tells her the truth - that she and Grayson are in love and will soon be "one big, happy family."
