THIS EPISODE:

Whilst at the take-away, Martin meets an American woman called Nancy and arranges a date. She regales him with tales about the unusual places she's had sex and then invites Martin to the rather normal surroundings of her flat. Meanwhile, back at the flat, Matt is dutifully waxing his surfboard, although whether it will ever touch saltwater at any point remains a mystery.


SERIES:

Sitcom set around three twenty-somethings who share a flat and who for better or worse are stuck with each other.

Matthew (Ben Chaplin) was the landlord, independently wealthy with a strange phobia of the outside, who rarely leaves the flat.

Martin (Matthew Cottle), Matthew's best friend from school, works in a bank and dreams of having a girlfriend, but always seems to get it wrong.

Mandy (Samantha Janus) whose best friend is Claudia, Martin's older sister. Mandy is the most intelligent of the three, but stuck in a series of temp jobs she can't escape being treated purely as a sex object.
