Hace unos meses, en Febrero se publicó en formato oficial por el sello \"Ace records\" una recopilación auténticamente espectacular. Nada más ni nada menos que â??Theme Time Radio Hour with your host Bob Dylanâ?? el primer volúmen y esperemos que no sea el último de la música del programa de Bob Dylan en una emisora de radio norteamericana.
Para todos aquellos que no lo sepan, la historia es que Bob, a parte de girar con su Never Ending Tour un promedio de 100 días al año desde el año 1995, hace un tiempo empezó a ejercer de DJ en una emisora pinchando su música favorita mientras comenta la música y el intérprete en cuestión e incluso pone algún tema suyo.
La música del doble álbum es un buen repaso a un montón de artistas de distintas épocas y estilos, conocidos y auténticos desconocidos. De momento hay 50 canciones pero pensad que se han radiado 828 temas en 50 episodios.El segundo corte del disco es una canción titulada â??Papaâ??s On The Housetopâ?? de Leroy Carr and Scrapper Blackwell grabada, ni más ni menos que en el año 1930, pero también hay un tema de The Clash \"Tommy Gun\", de la gran Billie Holliday \"Goodbye Morning\", un tema de Mary Gauthier â??I Drinkâ?? del año 2005, otro de los White Stripes \"Seven Nation Army\", temas de Otis Rush, Memphis Slim, The Yahyoos y muchos otros más, y claro la recopilación te entra a la primera, un auténtico \"random\" o \"shuffle\" de buena música para descubrir.
