Aimee Anne Duffy (born 23 June 1984 in Gwynedd, Wales), known professionally as Duffy, is a Welsh singer-songwriter.

Rockferry is the debut studio album by Welsh singer Duffy, first released on March 3, 2008 by A&M Records. Prior to releasing the album, Duffy appeared twice on Jools Hollands music show, performing the tracks Mercy, Warwick Avenue and her version of The First Cut Is the Deepest. The album title Rockferry, according to Duffy, is loosely based on Rock Ferry, a suburb of Birkenhead, on the Wirral Peninsula and approximately 10 miles from the Welsh border and 3 miles from Liverpool.
