Small Framed Boy - Beach Magic EP (2007) torrent

Small Framed Boy was an Atlanta-based psychedelic rock band for several years in the mid 2000's. They had already been together for a year or so when I joined the band as drummer and while we played a bunch of shows until the end we never officially released anything on plastic or vinyl. We did come up with a lot of new material and I recorded a number of these sessions and edited them together in 2 EPs that I think are fantastic.

The standard lineup circa these recordings was Adam on drums, Jenny on guitar and vocals, Amanda on bass, and Melissa on keys and second guitar and effects. Nathan from Tree Creature helped out on the dub song and these were recorded in the second Kiwis house so Andrew might be on some tracks.

I'd like to think we were in the tradition of Amon Duul II or The Boredoms or Yoko Ono or something but we don't really sound like them all that much. This was one of the most fun bands I've ever been in and I think it really shows on these recordings...
