This collection of songs contains a portion of the writing and recording Jennifer was doing during 2008-2009. Jennifer explains, "Generally I archive my songs so that I don't forget how to play them, whereby a quick rudimentary recording will suffice. Rarely are they intended for public consumption. Yet, when I started layering additional vocals, messing about with some keys and other effects, it was becoming apparent that these songs weren't going to sit idly by on my hard drive."

These tunes are now "demos" to the 2010 album LETTING GO and they share the evolutionary process of how some songs emerge from quiet places into a wider world.
