The Book of Eli is the story of Eli, played by Denzel Washington, who lives in a post-apocalyptic America. Eli is entrusted to protect a sacred book, which might hold the key to the survival for the entire human race. He is faced with a new threat when a cunning nemesis, played by Gary Oldman, sets his sights on acquiring the valuable and sacred book by using any means at his disposal.
