just a little extra info for all those who are interested... the beastie boys started out as a punk band, you'll hear some of their old punk songs on the sounds of science discs, but back then rap was more of a rebellious thing too so they moved onto that became mc's and just ripped it up... in my opinion they did much better with rap too, lol
