The story is simple, of a lonely little girl who misses her mother (died when she was born), lost in her own world of imagination, hope and quest for happiness and yearning for love...
Enter Halo in her life, a dog, a reclusive dog from the street, not a flashy pedigree one, and this 'God sent miracle' becomes everything for her... and the story revolves around the two of them...

But as every good film, this one works in many layers. Its not just the story that is great but the whole juxtaposition of characters and situations that peel out the labyrinths of Human sensitivities, especially the unbridled and uncluttered mind of a child, interposed with the everyday helter skelter, hustling bustling city life.

The credit has to go to Santosh Sivan for conjuring up this magic script and then being able to realise it on the screen with such panache that one has to be a viewer in order to discover what the movie achieves. The resources used in making the film are limited, all the more proof of the fact that all you need is a vision and sincerity, of course talent as Sivan, to put across what u feel, in this medium.

Its a Beautiful movie with a lot of fun and frolic... Its a journey, so poignant and exhilarating, with an end that is cathartic as well as ecstatic... to be savored !
