Sinopsis:
Otro video de Gustavo Galuppo, otro viaje a través de lo imposible. Un universo audiovisual en constante (r)evolución supera los obstáculos narrativos, uno por uno, a medida que se aproxima hacia el borde del precipicio que separa esos territorios históricamente irreconciliables que son el cine y el video. Fragmentos de diversas películas, en diálogo con registros hogareños realizados en el inestable soporte webcam, trazan un recorrido subjetivo dictado por el pasado y su ataque al resto de los tiempos, entre lo vivido y lo soñado, sin detenerse un instante. A bordo de trenes, barcos y aviones: un tríptico sobre los accidentes amorosos de Franz Kafka, Jean Vigo y el piloto Henry N. Lee. Y los de Galuppo, que sigue volviendo la cámara hacia sí mismo, hacia su historia. Como un videasta abstracto de la cotidianeidad o un filmador de la memoria. En esa encrucijada, el arte de Gustavo Galuppo sigue resistiendo.

Gustavo Galuppo:
Nace en Rosario en 1971. Estudia Realización Audiovisual en esa ciudad e investiga teoría e historia del arte. Es uno de los fundadores y primer director de la revista de cine y video El Eclipse. Desde 2002 forma parte del trío de música electrónica Vera Baxter, dedicado también a la realización de video-performances, instalaciones y video. Desde 1998 participa en diversas exposiciones en Argentina, Brasil, México, España, Colombia y Estados Unidos.
Obtiene a lo largo de su carrera premios nacionales e internacionales, entre los que se destacan:
premio al mejor video local, por Juan, Festival Latinoamericano de Video de Rosario 1999, el Video Comumnication Award, por su obra El Ticket que explotó, JVC Tokyo Video Festival, Japón, 2001 y primer premio en la categoría Video Experimental, por su obra, La progresión de las catástrofes (2004), Premio MAMBA - Fundación Telefónica /Arte y Nuevas Tecnologías, 2004. A partir de la utilización e intervención de films, registros documentales y familiares, Galuppo abre interrogantes acerca de la representación, los lazos afectivos, el temor a la pérdida y la muerte.

support, trace a subjective path dictated by the past and its attack on the rest of times, between
what's lived and what's dreamt, without stopping for an instant. Aboard in trains, ships and planes: a
triptych about the love accidents of Franz Kafka, Jean Vigo and pilot Henry N. Lee. And Galuppo's,
who keeps turning the camera towards himself, towards his story. Like an abstract videomaker of
everyday life or a filmer of memory. In this crossroad, the art of Gustavo Galuppo still resists.
