It tells the story of one shepherd's long and successful singlehanded effort to re-forest a desolate valley in the foothills of the Alps near Provence throughout the first half of the 20th century. The tale is quite short—only about 4000 words long."

This is only English version with Christopher Plummer.

Note: there was another torrent of this floating around but the quality was so bad that it wasn't worth watching. I'm creating this because I think that this is an important film and deserves to be seen at decent quality.
