Very different from the 1939 version. It's a little odd, even a little wierd. It's a silent movie, but this release has (rather annoying) music thoughout, and they added a narrator to read the title cards. Certainly there are better silent movies out there, but it's interesting to see the first film version of Wizard of Oz made 14 years before the version we're all so familiar with.
