Darrin Kohavi was raised in a musical family. He started playing classical piano at the age of eight. By the age of 17, he had mastered jazz, rock and R&B, and added guitar, bass and vocals to his musical talents.

Darrin graduated with a bachelor's degree in music from the highly esteemed music industry program at California State University, Northridge (CSUN). He opened his recording studio in 2004 and has since produced and written for several known artists across multiple genres, including hip hop, gospel, R&B and country.

Darrin has created a unique blend of contemporary music, combining modern/urban styles with the memorable melodies and backdrops of his musical influences -- The Beatles, Cat Stevens and Jim Croce to name a few. Darrin performs regularly at popular Los Angeles venues including The Viper Room, Temple Bar and BB King's Blues Club.

In November 2008, Darrin released his Please Believe Me EP. The album features five signature songs that capture Darrin's distinct style. Sign up for Darrin's mailing list to be notified of his upcoming tour beginning in January of 2009.
