Luck By Chance is a 2009 bollywood film, directed by debutante Zoya Akhtar. The film stars Konkona Sen Sharma and Farhan Akhtar in lead roles with Rishi Kapoor, Dimple Kapadia, Juhi Chawla, Hrithik Roshan, Isha Sharvani and Sanjay Kapoor in supporting roles. In this movie, for the first time, Indian film icons, Aamir Khan and Shahrukh Khan have made a special appearance, despite them having not shared the same frame. The movie, which is supposedly a dig at Bollywood film industry, was released on January 30, 2009. The film is about the journey of an actor named Vikram Jaisingh (Farhan Akhtar) who arrives in Bombay to make it big as a film star with the help of Abhimanyu (Arjun Mathur) a TV star friend, who puts him up during the initial struggle. Rishi Kapoor and Dimple Kapadia are seen in prominent roles and Rishi plays a Punjabi producer Romy Rolly. Konkona Sen Sharma appears in the role of a junior artist named Sona Mishra, with Hrithik Roshan playing the role of a superstar.
