Alfonia Tims left this world way too soon supposedly during a drug deal that went south. Alfonia was an integral voice in bringing street cred to the burgeoning NYC harmelodic funk scene of the 1980s. Copied from my old ROIR cassette the sound quality is quite good with only one instance of classic "tape slippage". Fans of James Blood Ulmer's rock oriented works will appreciate this.
