I saw the RTF lineup with Connors on their first tour and while his stage presence was something left of comatose you forgot that the moment he started to play. His solos were well conceived, passionately delivered and left the listener wanting more. After his brief stint with RTF Connors embarked on a stealthy solo career 2 examples of which are included here. Fans of Alan Holdsworth will appreciate what Bill Connors has done to elevate this approach to another stratosphere.
